Power of Intention

Horses teach us the power of intention through their athleticism and energetic will.

Intention is a visualisation process whereby we focus our mind and our energy on the outcome, manifesting our end-goal before we set out.

Take Olympic athletes for example, who close their eyes and picture themselves running, swimming or speeding down a track or pool before they even step up to the starting line. A state of flow unfolds, best described by Bruce Lee:

"Be Water, My Friend. Empty your mind.
Be formless, shapeless, like water.
You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup.
You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle.
You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash.
Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

When we empty our minds, we experience clarity. We can see our goal in our minds-eye and manifest our objectives as being accomplished before we begin. Horses have the ability to accelerate this process.

Earthly Power Within Paddy The Cob

Power is defined as follows:

• The ability or capacity to do something or act in a particular way

• The capacity or ability to direct or influence the behaviour of others or the course of events

The earthly power of Paddy the Cob “influences the behaviour“ of those who ride him, his calm and collected demeanour consumes you and before long your energy is harmonised with his, synchronising your intentions.

There’s Something About Mini Mary Too

While small in stature, Mini Mary the Cob Pony conveys a serenity of calmness much in the same way as Paddy.
